There have been reports that there is trouble with the EZ-Proxy server, which is used to access Library databases from off campus.
Most likely, this problem will not be able to be resolved until Monday morning. In ther interim, if you are researching from home or elsewhere off campus, please try accessing any of the Library databases you need to search via Citrix.
Don’t know what Citrix is or you have never used RMU’s Citrix system before? Citrix is a way of having your own computer behave as if it were a Campus PC.
You can access RMU Citrix by going to the RMU homepage and inputting Citrix in the search box in the upper right hand corner of the page. From there, you will see a link to IT’s Citrix page. You will also see a list of Citrix options.
If you choose any of them, and then select a browser from the Citrix desktop, navigate to the Library homepage as you normally would, select “Find Articles,” and choose a subject area or Databases A-Z and then select the database you wish to search. Remember to use a flash drive or navigate to the hard drive of your own PC or your RMU network space when saving, in order to avoid saving to the Citrix desktop.
Let us know if you have any questions or problems with this! Again, you shouldn’t need to access the RMU e-Library via Citrix beyond tomorrow a.m. This is just an alternate option.
